I’ll take “People I would’ve gotten out and screamed at” for $200, Alex.

Hold up, can we talk about this shit right here?
Clipping a double-yellow when making a left turn. I hate it with every fiber of my being. Occasionally, I’d see jackasses go beyond just clipping it and actually meander in the oncoming lane while lazily returning to their own lane. It’s not like the city hasn’t accommodated for the space needed to complete the turn, you do not need to cut through the double-yellow line.
I’m waiting for one of these people to hit the median while doing this, just so I can point and laugh.

I saw someone hit the median, not even turning a corner. They just drifted through the intersection and hit it at a solid 50km/h. I must admit, I laughed. Pretty hard.

Dear god.
Where did she get her licence from? Kelloggs?
Though why didn’t the indicators self cancel?

I can kinda understand it, it would make those in the outside turn lane feel a tad more comfortable as you’re staying well away from them. I’d do the same in the outside lane too; I’d make the widest arc possible.
The utter knobhead directly in front though, I’d be tempted to push him into oncoming traffic. Yes I have anger management problems.

A driving license is far too easy to get in this country.

That always bothers me. If it’s an apex point you’re looking to hit, it’s right where the white stop line meets that double yellow. I’ll admit that I too like finding the exact apex so that I can bulls-eye it. But there’s no need to drive
through
the “oncoming lane”.

Waste of a good green light, right there.
I usually give the driver a couple of seconds to react when it turns green, but in a situation like this, after skipping an ENTIRE light-cycle, I find instant horns appropriate.

THIS. I HATE it when people clip, or blatantly drive through, my lane when they are making a left turn. Are they seriously that bad at driving that they can’t manage a turn in to their own lane?

I would’ve honked and if they didn’t move I would’ve passed on the left and made my turn.

Whatever, they are in front of the stop line, who cares that that clipped the lines. No one is supposed to be on the oncoming side anyway. If someone were there, they wouldn’t have cut it like that. The only downside of that maneuver is faster paint wear.

So a friend of mine had the same situation. He didn’t honk. Quietly got out of the car, went and knocked on the window and told the lady “It isn’t gonna get any greener.” The lady go so flustered that she went on a red.
